ICONN (International Connection) is the only student union at Tilburg University that connects globally-minded Bachelor and Master’s students from all faculties. ICONN aims to create an interactive network for both international and Dutch students.
What we do in short;
• INTRODUCE: During the first period in Tilburg we help the new international students integrate and orientate by co-organizing the Welcome Week and providing information.
• INTEGRATE: We promote Dutch cultural experience, like celebrating local holidays such as Sinterklaas, Carnaval and Koninginnedag. However, we are not limited to Dutch customs. ICONN embraces international traditions as well. Additionally, we advise on practical problems and help English-speaking students find jobs and internships in the Netherlands.
• NETWORK & SOCIALISE: We organize a series of social and cultural activities like international dinners, theme parties, workshops, city trips and much more!
